Viabuild, a Belgium construction company operating in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis has presented a set of jerseys, footballs, and caps to some selected schools in the Metropolis.

The gesture, which is part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR), was made in response to a request from the schools for sporting equipment.

Archbishop Amissah, Reverend Monsignor Ansah (MONSCO), Korsah Complex, and Woode Methodist JHS were among the schools that benefited.

The presentation was given on Wednesday by representatives from the company and executives from the Office of the Member of Parliament (MP) for Takoradi Constituency, Mr. Kwabena Okyere-Darko.

It was a joyful environment as students and teachers from the aforementioned schools showed their gratitude for the thoughtful gesture.

Executives of Viabuild assured the schools of continued support in other areas.

Mrs Adelaide Ayi, a teacher at Archbishop Amissah School, who received the items on behalf of the beneficiary schools, thanked the donors for the gesture and said it would go a long way to enhance their sporting activities.
