Stevo Atambire, the Kologo Legend, has been named the Newcomer of the Year 2021 by the Songlines Music Awards in the United Kingdom.
Songlines Music Awards is a British magazine that was founded in 1999 to promote and feature traditional and popular modern music as well as fusion, including musicians from all over the world. Songlines started its Music Awards program in 2009 to replace the BBC Radio 3 World Music Awards, which had been canceled.

Best Artist, Best Group, Best Cross-Cultural Collaboration, and Best Newcomer are the four categories.
As a result, the organizers recognized the importance of indigenous music in contemporary art and honored the Kologo Legend for his contributions to indigenous art around the world.
Stevo expressed gratitude for the honor and stated that he will continue to promote indigenous art to the rest of the globe, stating that Kologo music has established itself and will soon take center stage in modern art.
