A 32-year-old retiree named Mr. Isaac Yao Adomey Akpabli has praised the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) and encouraged young people to commit to a pension plan.
Mr. Akpabli, a physically disabled person who at the age of 29 became the youngest pensioner on the SSNIT Pension Payroll in April 2019, is now highlighting the significance of retirement planning and enticing workers to make significant contributions to the plan.
In that regard, he added that he was ready and willing to represent the Trust as an ambassador.
Mr. Akpabli has discovered freedom and self-sufficiency thanks to his participation in the SSNIT Pension programme, despite enduring physical difficulties as a result of a fall from a coconut tree that left him with several damaged bones.
