The 2023 Clean Sport Webinar for weightlifting athletes and Athlete Support Personnel will be held on Friday, July 21 and will feature Ghanaian weightlifter Forrester Osei, who resides in the UK.
The International Testing Agency is hosting the webinar on behalf of the International Weightlifting Federation.
Since earning gold at the International Open Weightlifting Championships held in Mauritius last year, the award-winning athlete has gained expertise in the sport.
He will support Armando Urban, MD, the IWF’s education officer during the webinar, and he also chairs the IWF Athletes Commission.
The one-day programme aims to inform athletes and those who support them about anti-doping and to further explore the duties and obligations of those individuals (coaches, physicians, etc.).
