GNA-Dr. Kenneth Ashigbey, Chief Executive Officer, Ghana Chamber of Telecommunication, has claimed that Christianity, Islam, and Traditional religion in Ghana despise the actions of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and its related activities (LGBTQ+).

Thus, he warned young people against using the internet to follow the activities of LGBTQ+, emphasising that despite the encouragement given to kids and teenagers to embrace technology and the internet, they must not fall prey to being seduced into such activities.

He issued the warning when the Ghana Chamber of Telecommunications, in collaboration with the Institute of ICT Professionals Ghana, trained 200 students and 67 teachers from public elementary schools in the Ningo-Prampram District as part of the ‘Coding Caravan’, a drive to promote digital skills.
