The Assin North Region Assembly has praised churches in the district for following the Assembly’s Covid-19 safety procedures to guarantee a safe Christmas season.

The District Co-ordinating Director, Mr Anthony Buckner, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that the degree of compliance by churches and business owners has been quite outstanding.
He credited the result to the Assembly’s and security services’ diligent monitoring of events, which had increased patrols at hotspots and recreational centers.
Mr Buckner said that families and clans were allowed to conduct yearly family reunions and perform ceremonies within the bounds of their homes as long as they followed the rules.
Meanwhile, the GNA observed that most indigenes were in their nose masks going about their normal duties.
