Some Aluworks Ghana Limited clients in Tema are complaining about the treatment they received from the defunct aluminium company, which they describe as fraud.
Numerous clients claimed that money had been paid to the aluminium manufacturing company in order for it to supply roofing sheets to them, but the company was unable to do so.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency, Mr Issah Binney, a customer, claimed that he needed to cover his building and had been paying Aluworks since March 2021 for a roofing sheet, but that the roofing sheet had not yet been delivered.
He emphasised that the circumstance drove him to write a letter asking for a refund, claiming that he had followed up on multiple occasions but to no purpose.
