About $56.8 million loan for National Affordable Housing Programme laid before Parliament.

The EPC/Turnkey contract between the Government of Ghana and Douja Promotion Groupe Addoha for a value of $56.8 million has been brought before Parliament in order to finance the implementation of the National Affordable Housing Programme and the Revised Redevelopment Scheme.
The loan arrangement was sent to the Committee of Works and Housing, with First Deputy Speaker Mr Joseph Osei-Owusu serving as the chair.
Additionally, a report from the finance committee regarding the financing agreement between the government of Ghana and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) for $52.50 million—made up of a blended loan of $35.17 million and a highly concessional loan of $17.32—to finance the PROSPER project (Promoting Rural Opportunities, Sustainable Profits and Environmental Resilience) was presented.
