Thirteen public institutions undergo training on EPA exports requirements.

A two-day training on export regulations under the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) is now being completed by thirteen public institutions.

In order to ensure that more of Ghana’s products may be marketed in the European market, Compete Ghana, the European Union (EU), and the Ministry of Trade and Industry created a training programme with 10 modules.

The 13 participating institutions received training on EPA Customs Procedures and Trade Facilitation.

According to Mr. Dode Seidu, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Africa Trade Academy, the training’s main objective was to show participants how to assist Ghanaian public institutions in putting into practise efficient trade facilitation measures to enable them in achieving the objectives of the Ghana-EU collaboration.
