According to Dr. Bernard Okoe-Boye, CEO of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), the government led by President Akufo-Addo was committed to enhancing the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) to ensure that people with active NHIS cards have access to high-quality medical care.The government, he claimed, wanted to make sure that no one in the nation was refused access to high-quality medical treatment due to lack of funds.The CEO of NHIA said that the government was also attempting to resolve NHIS claims for the hospitals to be able to offer the necessary care to NHIA clients, including the availability of pharmaceuticals at the institution.As he paid Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih a courtesy visit on Thursday in Wa, Dr. Okoe-Boye made these remarks.
