A Ghanaian philanthropist and the NDC’s Akatsi South Constituency Treasurer has redesigned a four-kilometer (4km) road within the Akatsi township to increase access and make life easier for inhabitants.

Mr Anthony-Solo Adoteivi, the electoral area’s Assemblyman, claims to have redesigned and re-gravelled the road from Wisdom Preparatory School to the Perfect Peace Palace Hotel intersection and down to SDA Preparatory School.

This covers the route connecting Wumeve – Awlavikofe road, Akatsi, and Ho Major road from the Akatsi Senior High Technical School junction to Atorkorkope.

In an interview with the media, Hon. Solomon Anthony Adoteivi, the NDC’s Akatsi South Constituency Treasurer, stated that the reconfiguration of the road was motivated by his interest in the constituency’s growth.

“I am a citizen and I have my district at heart so I did it for my people and the constituency as a whole. I thought it is necessary to contribute my quota to the development of the constituency considering the good works of the member of Parliament, Hon. Bernard Ahiafor is doing in the constituency which he knows no member of Parliament can do it alone,” he noted.

“This is my second time reconfiguring these roads to aid the people and motorists inside the catchment region,” the Akatsi All Stars Chairman remarked.

According to the philanthropist, he was inspired by other civilizations that provide social amenities to their communities out of selflessness in order to counteract issues that they face.

“I have witnessed how people have contributed to their countries developmental status if the government fails so I made it an objective to imitate same here to help my people and it is void of any political ambitions,” he stated.

The selflessness and the benevolence aspect of the NDC grassroots commando have touched many hearts in the constituency which some have requested that the Akatsi South NDC treasurer, Mr. Anthony- Solo Adoteivi elevate his position to the office of the Vice-Chairman for the party in the constituency.

Other commentators commended his kind gesture and mentioned that his investments in Avenor merit Presidential status for the country as a reward.

The Assemblymember for the area, Hon. Wonder Gatepe also commends the prolific politician for listening to the plights of his residents.

Mr. Wonder Gatepe, The Shell Tobacco Block Assemblymember on Friday, 10th of December, 2021 toured his electoral area with an entourage led by Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Martin Kofitsey Nyahe.

Hon. Wonder said, it has become very necessary to call on the MCE to visit the area for him to have first-hand information on the concerns of his people.

The delegation was led to inspect some bad roads in the locality which one of the many have been fixed by the NDC stalwart in the Akatsi South Constituency a day after the tour.
